The Clyde Watkins Scholarship

About

The Clyde Watkins Scholarship covers 50% of tuition. It is available for applicants from smaller non-profits that are not able to support the tuition. Applicants can elect to apply for a need-based scholarship if their organization's professional development budget is limited or nonexistent.

Applicants to our Management & Annual Fellows Programs are asked to indicate their interest in scholarship support as part of the application process.

About Clyde

Fundraising veteran, Clyde Watkins, founded the DLC in 1994. Known informally as “Clyde’s Club” by its initial group of fellows, the DLC provided Chicago development officers a collegial forum to discuss challenges, share ideas, and benefit from mentorship. Today, the DLC offers a need-based scholarship named for its founder.

Development Leadership Consortium

Our mission is to mentor fundraising professionals who are new to the field and to engage them throughout their careers, encouraging their growth into committed, connected leaders of the philanthropic community in Chicago and beyond.
